AdvanCell Breaks Ground on New U.S. Headquarters & Flagship Manufacturing Facility

The 128,000-square-foot facility will strengthen the company's global manufacturing capabilities for next-generation targeted alpha therapies.

Editor’s Take: The amount of money going into U.S. manufacturing is hard to miss. In the past year, Lilly, Merck, Roche, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca have announced multiyear U.S. investment plans of $50 billion or more.

AdvanCell held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new U.S. headquarters and flagship manufacturing facility in Andover, Massachusetts, on Thursday.

The 128,000-square-foot facility marks an important milestone in AdvanCell’s U.S. expansion and will significantly strengthen the company’s global manufacturing capabilities for next-generation targeted alpha therapies.

The ceremony was attended by Massachusetts Secretary of Economic Development Eric Paley, Senator Barry Finegold, Andover Town Manager Andrew Flanagan, MassBio Head of External Affairs Benjamin Bradford, along with AdvanCell leadership, partners, investors and members of the local community.

“Establishing AdvanCell’s U.S. Global Headquarters and future manufacturing facility reinforces our commitment to U.S. expansion and represents an important milestone in AdvanCell’s strategy to build a global, vertically integrated targeted alpha therapy company,” said Philina Lee, PhD, CEO of AdvanCell. “As we advance ADVC001 and our broader Lead-212 pipeline, our Andover facility will be a cornerstone of our U.S. expansion and our first internal manufacturing site in the U.S., providing the foundation to scale production to support future clinical and commercial demand.”
